Die große Frage die ich mir heute stellen möchte ist, “Was sind die Leidenschaften und wie beeinflussen sie unser Leben?” Was für eine Bedeutung gibt sie den Dingen und Aktivitäten mit denen wir sie verbinden? Andere betreiben aus Leidenschaft ein Hobby, wie singen und zeichnen. Andere Wiederum, assoziieren es mit Essen, Spiele, Feiern etc. Aus einer etymologischen Perspektive, scheint dieses Wort einen kleinen Anhaltspunkt zu geben; es verbindet es mit dem Leid, was wir sicherlich sofort auf dem ersten Blick bemerken. Jedoch, existiert auch das lateinische Synonym “Passion” und das weniger bekannte “Pathos”(πάθος) aus dem griechischen. Beide Wörter haben die gleiche Bedeutung, also “Leiden”, dass sich aus dem Verb páscho(grie. πάσχω = leiden, etw. erleiden/schlechtes widerfahren), ableitet.
